Meet the Doctor

Dr. Temple obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He obtained a post-graduate specialty in chiropractic orthopedics from the National College of Chiropractic. He has practiced in the Bellows Falls, VT community for more than 40 years and at Grace Cottage Hospital where he created and practiced in the outpatient chiropractic program. In addition to active practice, he also was involved in both State and National licensure for the Chiropractic profession, having held positions in the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards, The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the VT Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

He is a graduate of the Texas A&M Certification in Accident Reconstruction for the Medical practitioner, an advance certification in diagnosis, treatment and management of motor vehicle cervical acceleration
deceleration trauma from the Spine Research Institute. He is a fellow in the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedics and is a Diplomat in the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists.

Awards include the Dr. George W. Arvison Award for meritorious service to chiropractic. Chiropractic Doctor of the Year. 2000 Dynamic Chiropractic/International Journal. VT Chiropractor of the year 1999 and 1995. He has been actively involved in the local community.

Dr. Parella graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. He worked as a Zookeeper at the Utica Zoo, and as a Veterinary Technician at Harvard University’s Primate Research Center. Later experience working as a chiropractic assistant allowed Dr. Parella to see the benefits of the profession, and led him to return to graduate school, obtaining his Doctorate in Chiropractic from the University of Bridgeport.

Dr. Parella lives in Vermont with his wife, Sarah, and two cats Curtis and Fern.
